Biography

Lukita has starred for three seasons in Apple TV+’s hit comedy series SHRINKING, opposite Jason Segel & Harrison Ford, produced by Segel and TED LASSO’S Bill Lawrence & Brett Goldstein. In film, Lukita stars in the upcoming A24 and 21 Laps genre thriller BACKROOMS, from director Kane Parsons and producer Osgood Perkins, appearing alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve. She’s also set to co-star alongside AnnaSophia Robb and Iris Apatow in the coming-of-age indie MAGAZINE from 2AM.

Prior work includes a Series Regular role in Lena Dunham’s HBO Max series GENERA+ION, written by Zelda and Daniel Barnz. Lukita is also working behind the camera, having produced and starred in the short film MĀNOA PARK, her second collaboration with director Emily Jampel. Lukita began her study on stage at a young age. During her most recent hiatus, she returned to her theatre roots, studying Shakespeare at RADA in London.

Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, Lukita began her career on stage at a very young age in the Tony Award winning Utah Shakespeare Festival, where she won their annual competition performing a monologue from the classic play Henry VI. On her most recent hiatus, Lukita returned to her theatre roots studying Shakespeare at RADA in London.

Lukita holds a deep passion for photography, art and design.
