Duke Davis Roberts recurred for two seasons on Starz network’s hourlong drama HEELS. The series, created by Michael Waldron & Mike O’Malley, is set in the outrageous world of independent professional wrestling.
Duke appeared opposite Ethan Hawke in Showtime’s critically acclaimed historical drama mini-series THE GOOD LORD BIRD. Duke also recurred in Amazon’s sci-fi thriller THE PERIPHERAL from executive producer Jonah Nolan, starring Chloë Grace Moretz and based on the bestselling novel by William Gibson.
Other notable roles include a memorable arc opposite Timothy Olyphant in the hit FX series JUSTIFIED, as well as recurring roles in AMC’s Western THE SON, and also NBC’s medical drama THE NIGHT SHIFT.
In film, Duke has a lead role in UNDRAFTED, a comedy set in the world of amateur baseball, directed by Joe Mazzello (he stars opposite Jim Belushi, Aaron Tveit, Billy Gardell and Matt Barr). Duke was born and raised in Los Angeles. In addition to his work as an actor, he is an accomplished MMA fighter trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Tae Kwon Do, Boxing and Wrestling. Standing 6’5” tall, Duke first entered the cage at the age of 18 and just 1 year later won his first amateur MMA Championship in the Light Heavyweight division.
