Manny Montana stars in Disney+’s anticipated limited series IRONHEART, from Marvel Studios and Ryan Coogler’s Proximity Media. The series is expected to premiere late 2024. Manny stars alongside Dominique Thorne, who reprises her role of “Ironheart”, originally introduced in Marvel’s blockbuster hit film BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER.

Manny is often known for his starring role in NBC/Netflix’s hit crime drama GOOD GIRLS in which he starred opposite Christina Hendricks. The series, created by Jenna Bans, followed three suburban wives and mothers who find themselves in desperate circumstances and decide to stop playing it safe, and risk everything to take their power back. Manny instantly became a fan favorite as Rio, a smart and connected hustler who recognized what assets the “good girls” could be to his money laundering business.

Manny previously starred for three seasons in USA Network’s critically acclaimed drama series GRACELAND opposite Aaron Tveit and Daniel Sunjata. He was also a series regular in ABC’s legal drama CONVICTION opposite Hayley Atwell.

Additional television credits include recurring roles in FX drama MAYANS MC, HBO’s hit WESTWORLD, and FOX dramas ROSEWOOD and CHICAGO CODE. He’s had memorable guest appearances in NCIS: LA, POWER, LUCIFER, THE FOLLOWING, GRIMM, CSI: NY, BREAKOUT KINGS and LIE TO ME to name a few.

In film, Manny appeared opposite Clint Eastwood in THE MULE. He starred in Anthony Zuicker’s CYBERGEDDON with Missy Peregrym. He also had a lead role in Joe Mazzello’s comedy UNDRAFTED, set in the world of amateur baseball, starring alongside Billy Gardell, Tyler Hoechlin, Philip Winchester, Matt Barr and Jim Belushi.

Born and raised in Long Beach, California, Montana is a lifelong athlete. In college he started for his football team at California State University, Sacramento. He is the recipient of Silver Gloves in California for competitive boxing, and he is an avid surfer. Montana continues to stay active and engaged in the community of Long Beach, he has coached peewee and high school football in the area and continues to mentor kids growing up in his hometown.
