
Barry Watson appears opposite Russell Crowe in Showtime’s limited series THE LOUDEST VOICE, which chronicles the rise and fall of former Fox News Chairman, Roger Ailes (Crowe). Watson plays the controversial News Corp Chairman “Lachlan Murdoch.”
Watson was also a Series Regular on The CW’s superhero drama NAOMI, based on the DC comic of the same name. Prior to that he was the lead of Hulu/Blumhouse Production’s film THE CURRENT OCCUPANT, and he starred in Sony’s film A DOG’S WAY HOME.
Watson’s breakout role came on 7TH HEAVEN, starring as Matt Camden for six seasons; then he went on to star in ABC’s relationship drama WHAT ABOUT BRIAN, followed by the critically acclaimed ABC comedy SAMANTHA WHO, co-starring opposite Christina Applegate. Watson also recurred on Showtime’s MASTERS OF SEX , TNT’s MURDER IN THE FIRST, as well as HART OF DIXIE and GOSSIP GIRL for The CW. Previous feature credits include parts in TEACHING MRS. TINGLE, SORORITY BOYS, and BOOGYMAN.
