Biography

Daisuke appears in Matt Damon & Ben Affleck’s Netflix high octane thriller THE RIP, from writer & director Joe Carnahan. Next up, he’s set to recur in Starz’s prequel series POWER: ORIGINS, as well as season two of STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY. Daisuke was a Series Regular in Apple TV+’s thriller INVASION. Additional TV credits include recurring roles in Netflix’s hit series THE NIGHT AGENT from creator Shawn Ryan; Amazon’s period drama THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE; Hank Azaria’s baseball comedy BROCKMIRE for IFC; and he voiced a character in David Fincher’s mo-cap animated series LOVE, DEATH & ROBOTS for Netflix.

In the world of video games, Daisuke was the lead & title character of the hit Sucker Punch Productions title GHOST OF TSUSHIMA, which earned him a BAFTA Games Award nomination as ‘Best Performer in a Leading Role’. He also had a lead role in MORTAL KOMBAT 1.

In theatre, Daisuke starred on Broadway in LIFE OF PI (Tony, Drama Desk and Drama League Award Nominee), Lolita Chakrabarti’s critically acclaimed stage adaption of Yann Martel’s best-selling novel. Having performed in theaters all over the country, Daisuke’s resume includes six seasons as company member with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and a contract Cirque du Soleil.
